If you have financially supported Scrolls & Leaves through Patreon, Razorpay or other platforms, and would like to request a refund, we would be happy to issue it as per this policy. Some amount may be deducted due to platform fees. For example, Razorpay takes a 2% platform fee per donation (for a Rs. 5,000 donation, they charge Rs. 200).
We expect that all donors will exercise due care and diligence while making donations. But we also recognize that a donation may be made erroneously or donors may change their mind.
Please recognize the Scrolls & Leaves is not a registered charity, and we cannot issue a tax exemption certificate.
Scrolls & Leaves will examine each request for refund of donation and endeavour to make the refund. Scrolls & Leaves may also seek further information / documents and donor must co-operate in this regard. However, Scrolls & Leaves is not obliged to make refunds and may, in its discretion, decline any requests for refund of donations.
- You must request Scrolls & Leaves by email at scrollsandleaves@gmail.com for a refund and your request must reach Scrolls & Leaves within 15 (fifteen) days from the date on which you made the donation.
The written request stating reason for requesting refund must contain all the following details pertaining to the donation
- Date of donation
- Donation amount
- If donation was made online, please provide any reference ID
All decisions of Scrolls & Leaves in this regard will be final and binding on the donor.
